Graham-Patten Systems Announces the Newest Addition to the SoundPals Product Line |
The VRG-1 Video Referenced AES/Word Clock Generator |
GRASS VALLEY, CA (April 19, 1999)--Graham-Patten announced the newest addition to the SoundPals product line, the VRG-1 video referenced AES/word clock generator. The VRG-1 module has a loop-thru video input and outputs for word clock, AES3, and AES3id. The input reference may be PAL or NTSC. Fs on all of the outputs is 48kHz, locked to the input video. |
The VRG-1 is a compact module that provides the required reference signals to lock the audio sampling clocks in a video system to a house video reference such as color black. "This connection ensures that each audio device is locked to the same reference and also locked to the video. This is of utmost importance in a video facility," says Jay Kuca, director of marketing and sales at Graham-Patten. |
The VRG-1 also allows modules such as the ADC-20, DMIC-20, ADAT-1, and DTG-1 to be used in digital audio-for-video applications where the AES sample clocks must be locked to a video reference such as house sync. |
List price of the VRG-1 is $699 and is available now for shipment. |
